BANKS - The Altar, Best release for me this year so far, by far! BANKS rules and she absolutely freaking slays it! If you like your ADULT alternative-electro-atmosperic-pop with some insane vocals, beats, breaks and amazing arrangements than do not miss out on this album! Go get it, like now! Also, please understand that if you like your general FM radio pop this may not be your cup of tea - some acquired taste of music needed to fully enjoy and appreciate this. This album oozes with raw feelings and it's very passionate and vulnerable at the same time. The artistry that comes with these 12 songs is top notch and the whole album has a sense of an excellent production.BANKS gives her 110% here and you can tell...and you can also tell that she doesn't give a damn if you like it or not... and luckily I do!5+ stars for sure!
