Candido was responsible for embracing the tuneable conga drum, the first to play multiple congas, and for developing techniques that all conga players use today. Candido played with Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Billy Taylor, Stan Kenton, among many others. As a leader he recorded seventeen albums for several different labels, including Blue Note with the album 'Beautiful (1971), and Chesky Records with Inolvidable with Cuban singer Graciela. VG+ (Very Good+) A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.
