This is a classic "bootleg" recording of a concert held in November of 1977 at the Paris Sorbonne University. As usual for a recording of this sort, the sound ain't great. In places it is pretty bad, actually. It sounds as though the recording took place out in the audience somewhere, likely from the lighting and sound control board. In other words, none of the instruments or voices are Mic'd, I think. As a result the crowd noise is a bit much in some parts, even while the band noise fidelity is not high.
It is a double album as follows: A1) Hair Pie Bake III; 2)Suction Prints; 3) Low Yo Yo Stuff; 4) Bat Chain PUuller; 5)I wanna find a woman that'll hold my big toe till I have A (to) Go; 6) Abba Zaba; 7) Dali's Car
B8) The Nest Rolls After Another; 9)The Dust Blows Forward and The Dust Blows Back; 100 Nowadays A Womans's Gotta Hit A Man; 11) Click Clack; 12) Grow Fins; 13) Golden Birdies
C14) Electricity; 15)A Carrot is as close....; 16) China Pig; 17) Sun Zoom Park (Spark); 18) My Human Gets Me Blues; 19) Floppy Boot Stomp.
D20) Moonlight on VT; 21) CArson City; 22) Old Black Snake; 23) Pachuco Cadaver; 24) Veteran's Day Poppy; 25) The Blimp; 26) Big Eyed Beans....
This lineup for this album is Eric Feldman, Denny Wally, Jeff Tepper and Robt. Williams. In other words, not the crew that is most celebrated by fans. I think Wally played only on Bat Chain Puller; Tepper began with the original Bat Chain Puller and I guess rode it out to the end; Feldman started with Shiny Beast and finally Williams who also started with Shiny Beast. In other words this is not exactly classic Captain Beefheart, the songs on the album notwithstanding. As such only the most dedicated fan is going to appreciate this album issue.

*SEALED* Jacket still sealed in shrink original wrap; disc sold ungraded or "as is."
NM (Near Mint) Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches.
EX+ (Excellent) May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect playback.
VG+ (Very Good+) A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.
VG (Very Good) Similar imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
VG- (Very Good-) A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
G (Good) Record can be played without skipping, but will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.
*SW/DNAP* Slight warp, does not affect playback
*QUAD* Quadraphonic Sound, similar to today’s surround sound
