This album is different! Not recording wise- as the sound quality is first rate. This is more of what I would call an R&B release. It is very much an ensemble effort as opposed to his first two releases which were, for the most part, just him doin' his thing. "Slow Down" is very tuneful and fun. The title is tongue-in-cheek as this is a faster paced effort than his earlier offerings. It comes off not quite as "deep" as his first two albums which were performed in a more classic blues style. This guy is a real talent and very smart. His songs all have genuine meaning in them and are cleverly worded to convey his messages. He also plays great blues guitar. Never overdoes it to prove that he's a virtuoso, just enough to complement his songs and the feelings he is conveying.

G (Good) Record can be played without skipping, but will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.
