As a stage & vocal showstopper, Maxine Nightingale wowed the crowds with her vocal prowess in some of the early '70s greatest shows including Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair & Godspell. Then turning her attention to the pop world, Nightingale crashed the charts on both sides of the Atlantic with her disco smash "Right Back Where We Started From" which peaked at #2 in the US. Now available again after over ten years out of print is Nightingale's 1979 follow-up to her disco success entitled, Lead Me On. The title single was a worldwide hit that spent 23 weeks on the US pop chart, peaking at #5, as well as rising to the #1 spot on the Adult Contemporary Chart. The album has become a classic crossover standard, a result of the subtle changes Nightingale made from an overt R&B style to a broader pop-based music that she continues to promote today peppering her current review with sultry standards as well as her classic r&b & pop hits. Lead Me On is another must have for r&b & disco fans alike!

VG+ (Very Good+) A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.

VG- (Very Good-) A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
G (Good) Record can be played without skipping, but will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.
